This page explains what personal data we process when you visit partero.app and the demo at demo.partero.app, and on what basis. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve the service.

Who is responsible

The controller for this website is Partero (contact: office@partero.app). See the imprint for full details.

Analytics (Matomo)

We use Matomo, an open-source web-analytics tool, to understand how the site and demo are used (visits, referrers, which features draw interest, where people drop off). We self-host Matomo on our own infrastructure at mat.langeder.business — your usage data is processed by us and is not shared with any third party and not transferred outside the EU.

Our Matomo is configured to be privacy-friendly:

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to analytics at any time by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser, which Matomo respects. More about Matomo's data handling: matomo.org/privacy.

Server logs

Our hosting provider stores standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and troubleshooting. These are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

The demo application

If you sign in to the demo, we process the account data and any files you upload solely to provide the demo (analysis and quoting). Demo data may be reset periodically. Contact us to have your demo data removed sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email office@partero.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
